Description: This vintage military artifact is a bi-color anodized aluminum cap badge, manufactured under the trade name Staybrite. The design features a sharply detailed silver-anodized laurel wreath enclosing a central royal tiger passing toward the left on a solid ground strip. A highly prominent silver Queen's Crown (St. Edward's Crown) sits centered above the tiger, anchoring the top peak of the badge structure. Nestled perfectly at the base of the laurel wreath is a distinct, gold-anodized Hampshire Rose emblem. A sweeping gold ribbon scroll binds the lower half of the insignia, boldly inscribed with the uppercase regimental title "ROYAL HAMPSHIRE". The reverse side carries a clear manufacturer backmark reading "J.R. GAUNT B'HAM" and features a standard vertical mounting slider.
