Description: The item is an original Queen's Own Highlanders (Seaforth and Camerons) military dress collar or sporran badge. The insignia is struck from a crisp white metal alloy, presenting a brightly polished silver finish. The structural composition showcases a beautifully detailed Scottish thistle flower head with a heavily cross-hatched, bulbous base, which is seamlessly supported by two symmetric, sharply serrated thistle leaves curling upward along the sides. A beautifully contoured St. Edward's Crown surmounts the top of the thistle stem, denoting the Elizabethan era. The unmarked reverse side features dual wire fastening lugs designed to accept a standard cotter pin to lock the insignia flush against formal wool cloth uniforms.
