Description: This British Army other ranks cap badge is struck in a classic single piece of solid brass gilding metal. The timeless design features a beautifully domed, plain spherical grenade body with a smooth, unadorned surface finish. Exploding upwards from the narrow neck of the ordnance is a highly stylized, dense cluster of flames displaying seventeen individual points split evenly across the curved top border. The reverse side is entirely hollow-struck, featuring a clean mirroring of the front design elements along with a pair of solid brass wire attachment lugs brazed vertically to secure a split-pin retainer loop.
