Description: This dynamic piece of Scottish militaria features Macduff, the legendary Thane of Fife, charging on a powerful warhorse in full medieval battle armor. The warhorse is beautifully adorned in extensive ceremonial caparison armor decorated with multiple smaller lion-rampant shields, and the entire figural group rides aggressively along a stylized grassy ground line.

This iconic insignia represents the Fife and Forfar Yeomanry, an elite Scottish auxiliary unit that originally served as mounted cavalry before transforming into armored car and tank battalions during the World Wars.
