Description: This original British Army insignia features an eight-pointed star design modeled after the prestigious Order of the Garter. The central medallion exhibits the red Cross of St. George at its core, surrounded by a garter band cleanly inscribed with the Royal Knightly motto Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense, which translates from Old French to "Shame be to him who thinks evil of it".
