A wide outer strap frames the beast, displaying the prominent embossed Gaelic clan motto "SANS PEUR" across the upper half in thick, stylized capital lettering. The bottom curve of the strap is detailed with three small, symmetrically spaced rosettes that break up the textured background pattern.
