Description: The item is an unissued historical postage stamp commissioned by the Ukrainian People's Republic during its chaotic struggle for independence. Printed in a deep dark blue ink on cream-colored paper, the intricate design centers on a detailed engraving of Taras Shevchenko wearing a traditional sheepskin hat (shapka) and coat. Cyrillic text framing the portrait reads "ПОШТА НАРОДНЯ РЕСПУБЛІКА" along the top edge, flanked by two Tryzub national coat of arms emblems in the upper corners. Vertical side borders spell out "УКРАЇНСЬКА" and "РЕСПУБЛІКА", anchoring a clear "20 ГРИВЕНЬ 20" value denomination along the lower baseline.
