Scouts Canada Badge – Centennial

Under Review

Material: Cloth with embroidered thread.

Size: 50 x 50 mm.

Description: The uniform patch is an official Canadian district-pattern scout badge, intricately embroidered with dense silken threads. The upper section features a solid yellow rectangular bar containing the uppercase title text "CENTENNIAL" rendered in thick green chain-stitching. Directly below this title is a golden-yellow horizon accented by two stylized green pine boughs flanking an independent pair of silver-grey canoe paddles. The entire lower half of the shield is composed of a traditional woven red, green, and blue tartan fabric backing. Superimposed over the center of this plaid field is a highly raised, white-and-grey embroidered stone trail cairn, layered with a small centralized golden evergreen pine tree silhouette. The badge is firmly secured by a thick, dark green rolled embroidered border.

Circa: 1967.

Notes:

Issued for Canada’s Centennial year in 1967 to mark 100 years since Confederation.
