Vintage Wolf Cub Instructor Patch

Under Review

Material: Woven thread

Size: 30mm w x 35mm h

Description: This embroidered rank patch belongs to the vintage international uniform system of the Wolf Cubs section within the Boy Scouts. The prominent center image outlines a wolf’s head stitched in green yarn, which serves as the traditional scouting symbol representing leadership, tracking, and obedience. Curving cleanly along the lower border of the badge is the explicit title "BOY SCOUTS". This particular color scheme and layout denoted the specific rank of an Instructor or youth leader within a local pack, showing that the wearer possessed advanced scouting skills. The raw, bound outer border features visible loose fibers, providing clear proof that the patch was carefully unpicked and salvaged from a heavily used wool uniform shirt or jersey.

Circa: 1920-1967
