Description: The stamp features an engraved pictorial vignette showcasing a traditional "Ysabel Canoe" manned by a large crew of local rowers navigating a calm, golden-hued sea at sunset. This central nautical scene is rendered in an orange-brown ink, which is beautifully framed by a soft violet border. Occupying a prominent oval medallion on the right is the fine portrait of Queen Elizabeth II facing left, wearing a crown and based on an early coronation-era likeness. The top border is cleanly inscribed with the words "BRITISH SOLOMON ISLANDS" in an elegant serif typeface, while the lower right corner displays the fraction value "1/2 d" positioned directly beneath the royal frame.
