Description: This vertical definitive postage stamp from the Soviet Union displays a highly detailed line engraving of a military pilot in full flight gear. The aviator faces toward the right, wearing a leather flight helmet topped with padded protection and classic aviation goggles pushed up onto the forehead. A thick canvas parachute harness runs down the pilot's chest, while parallel horizontal engraving lines create a sky-like background behind the portrait. The capitalized phrase "ПОЧТА СССР" (Post Office USSR) is inscribed neatly along the top margin inside an architectural frame. The lower portion of the stamp features the large face value "25 копеек" (25 Kopecks) in a clean lowercase Cyrillic typeface. A light black postal cancellation arcs across the upper-right corner, validating its used condition in circulation.
