Description: The stamp features an engraved design rendered in a vivid magenta or deep rose-pink ink, showcasing the bust of a miner facing toward the upper left in profile. He is outfitted in a standard striped work shirt and wears a protective mining helmet complete with a mounted headlamp bracket positioned above the brim. The upper right corner clearly displays the face value denomination "20 BANI," while the bottom baseline is anchored by the full inscription "R.P. ROMINA POSTA." This framing explicitly marks the political authority of the mid-century Romanian People's Republic.
Circa: Mid 20th Century

Notes:
This stamp series directly supported the aggressive state initiatives launched by the Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej regime, which sought to rapidly transform an agrarian Romania into a heavy industrial superpower by prioritizing domestic coal mining and steel production.
