Description: This vintage Polish commemorative postage stamp features a stylized, minimalist illustration of a ski jumper leaning forward parallel to his skis in mid-air. The athlete is depicted in a deep slate-grey uniform accented by a bright red cap, soaring above a simplified cluster of green evergreen trees. The background is a clean, unadorned cream-colored paper stock that emphasizes the mid-century modern aesthetic. A vertical text banner on the left reads "NARCIARSKIE MISTRZOSTWA ŚWIATA", which flows beneath a prominent International Ski Federation logo and the horizontal date inscription "ŚWIATA-1962-". The lower-right corner displays the face value "1.50 ZŁ", positioned directly above the bold, capitalized country name "POLSKA". This specimen features standard comb perforations and is marked by a dark black circular town handstamp cancellation sweeping across the bottom right corner.
