Description: This stamp is a 5-złoty (5 zł) definitive issue from the Polish People's Republic (Polska Rzeczpospolita Ludowa). Printed entirely in a deep, dark brown ink, the illustration features three construction workers—collectively known as a bricklaying trio (trójka murarska)—working diligently to lay a new brick wall. In the background, poking subtly between the scaffolding, stands the monumental spire of Sigismund's Column (Kolumna Zygmunta), a famous historic monument in Warsaw that was destroyed during World War II and subsequently rebuilt. A bold, stylized banner in the upper left corner reads "ODBUDOWA WARSZAWY" (Reconstruction of Warsaw), while the country inscription "POCZTA POLSKA" spans across the bottom. The large denomination numeral "5 ZŁ" occupies the upper right space.
