Description: This vintage Polish definitive postage stamp features a forward-facing portrait of Bolesław Bierut, a key political figure and president of Poland. The entire design is printed in a sharp, monochromatic carmine-red ink using the recess printing method on smooth white paper. The denomination "30" is prominently positioned in the top-left corner, balanced by the currency abbreviation "Gr" for groszy in the top-right corner. The bold, capitalized text "POCZTA POLSKA" stretches cleanly across the bottom banner. Fine artistic credits read "P.W.P.W." on the lower left for the state security print works and "S. ŁUKASZEWSKI" on the lower right for the portrait designer. The specimen features a standard comb perforation and is cancelled with a heavy, black ink handstamp cutting vertically across the right side of the face.
