Description: The stamp utilizes a horizontal rectangular format to frame a detailed scenic line engraving. The central artwork highlights a historic white pavilion building reflecting cleanly into a large, mirror-like water tank, flanked by a long masonry footbridge on the left and a dense backdrop of manicured trees and rolling hills. Spanning across the upper border, the name of the issuing nation "PAKISTAN" is written in three distinct scripts, featuring native Urdu calligraphy on the left, standard English block letters in the middle, and Bengali script on the right. The lower-left corner explicitly marks the face value denomination "13 PAISA," balanced by the word "POSTAGE" tucked into the lower-right corner. A faint, dark ink smudge on the lower margin shows its transit through the domestic postal grid.

Circa: 1961-1964

Notes:

The scene illustrates the breathtaking Shalimar Gardens in Lahore, a UNESCO World Heritage site constructed in 1642 under the direction of the celebrated Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan.
