Description: This beautifully engraved green postage stamp features a three-quarter portrait of a young Queen Elizabeth II gazing toward the left while adorned in her royal tiara, necklace, and gown. The monarch's profile is set against a finely hatched background of crisp horizontal lines. The upper-right corner bears the royal cypher "EⅡR" inside a neat rectangular frame, and the lower-left corner indicates the denomination value of "2d". Spanning the lower border is the country name "NEW ZEALAND", which is nestled between native Kōwhai blossoms draping from the top left and a cluster of five-pointed stars forming the Southern Cross on the bottom right.
