Description: This classic engraved specimen features a elegant, left-facing bare profile portrait of King George V centered within a solid background frame. The words "POSTAGE & REVENUE" are neatly integrated directly beneath the portrait oval, while the country designation "NEW ZEALAND" spans the bottom border in clean, white block lettering. Ornate, symmetrical Maori-influenced scrollwork flanks both sides of the inner frame, perfectly balancing the design. The upper corners house two matching, stylized square boxes displaying a large white numeral "2" to cleanly indicate the face value.
