Queen Juliana Crown Monogram Definitive

Under Review

Description: This stamp is a 6-cent (6 C) definitive issue from the Kingdom of the Netherlands (Nederland). Printed via a fine typography process, the monochromatic design frames a direct, forward-facing portrait (en face) of Queen Juliana, who reigned from 1948 until her abdication in the spring of 1980. The background is a dense, repeating security lattice made of intertwined royal monograms featuring her initials under a stylized Dutch crown. The denomination value "6 C" is cleanly nested beneath her chin, while the country name "NEDERLAND" is displayed across the lower margin in a prominent serif font. A clear, crisp commercial or slogan postmark cancel cuts vertically through the center, displaying the historic year "1957".
