Description: The stamp utilizes a horizontal layout featuring a monochromatic black engraving of local coastal life. Two traditional wooden Chinese sampans are depicted floating on slightly rippled water, with operators standing at the stern using long sculling oars to steer the boats. The upper-left corner features a detailed portrait of a young Queen Elizabeth II framed inside an elegant oval border topped by the St. Edward’s Crown. Positioned in the upper-right corner is the clear face value denomination "1 CENT" printed in a crisp, white sans-serif font. Spanning the entire bottom edge of the design, the territorial title "SINGAPORE MALAYA" is boldly presented in large, uniform block letters.
