Description: This distinctively shaped triangular postage due stamp from Monaco features a finely detailed line engraving of a Sikorsky S-51 helicopter in mid-flight. The aircraft is shown angled downward to the left, complete with its main and tail rotor blades spinning and clear side markings reading "H.O. 3S." The top left frame edge bears the capitalized phrase "TIMBRE TAXE," while the top right edge reads "POSTES," indicating its purpose for penalty or short-paid mail delivery. The country name "MONACO" is boldly printed across the wide lower baseline, positioned just left of a large "1 F" denomination. Small banner text underneath the cockpit reads "DE L'U.S. NAVY" and "HELICOPTERE SIKORSKY," while minute artist credits along the absolute bottom border note designer "B. MINNE DEL." and engraver "SERRES SC."
