1954 Monaco Coat of Arms Definitive

Under Review

Description: This striking definitive postage stamp from the Principality of Monaco showcases the historic heraldry of the sovereign House of Grimaldi in a bold graphic format. The central design features the traditional Monegasque coat of arms, consisting of a pointed shield patterned with alternating red and white diamond shapes, known heraldically as lozenges. The royal shield is surmounted by an intricately rendered princely crown capped with a small cross. Flanking the central crest are stylized, sweeping white flourishes that map out the elegant loops of a royal monogram. The country name "MONACO" is centered along the top margin, cleanly nested between two mirrored "50" value indicators to designate its face value of 50 centimes. The lower border is grounded by a cursive, banner-styled inscription reading "POSTES."
