Japan Mt. Fuji and Sika Deer Stamp

Under Review

Description: This individual postage stamp features an exceptionally dense, high-fidelity intaglio engraving printed in a rich plum-violet or deep wine-coloured ink on a granite-textured paper stock. The visual layout is separated into two prominent asymmetrical fields: the left quadrant frames a majestic landscape vignette of a snow-capped Mount Fuji rising above low-lying horizontal clouds, while the right vertical border displays a stately Sika Deer (Cervus nippon) standing alert amidst dense foliage. The upper left corner hosts the multi-petaled Imperial Chrysanthemum Crest (Kikumon), surrounded by the stylized kanji characters for the state authority reading "Great Japan Empire Post". The lower baseline centers the large numeric denomination and currency unit "20 銭拾貳 SN" (20 Sen). The physical specimen is bounded by standard paper perforations on all sides and carries a heavy black ink hand-stamped commercial postal cancellation tracking across the top right margin.
