Description: This 4 Sen stamp features the "Scenery" design—Mount Fuji on the left and a Sika deer on the right—printed in a distinct Orange ink. While the earlier 1922 version of this value was green, the Imperial Japanese Post officially re-issued the 4 Sen value in Orange starting in 1929. The design includes the Imperial Chrysanthemum Crest (Kikumon) at the top center and the value "4 Sn" in the bottom right corner, which was the standard domestic printed matter rate at the time.
