Description: The vertical format stamp displays a monochromatic ultramarine graphic presentation focused on the detailed architectural facade of the Institute of Jamaica building in Kingston. Designed in a stately Art Deco style, the multi-story brick and stone facility features tall rectangular windows and an adjacent tropical palm tree standing prominently near the entrance. Anchored inside a fine dual-lined oval frame in the upper-right corner is a formal, front-facing uniform portrait of King George VI. The lower margin grounds the composition with a wide banner containing a large "3d" face value denomination alongside bold inscriptions reading "JAMAICA / NEW CONSTITUTION 1944". Slicing across the left side of the facade is a heavy, circular black ink postal cancellation mark.
