Description: This deep blue pre-decimal 5d postage stamp features the iconic three-quarters portrait of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the George IV State Diadem. Issued specifically for the Isle of Man, the portrait is framed by a traditional Celtic ring chain border designed to mirror local stone carving patterns. The top left corner displays a striking heraldic shield containing the ancient Manx triskelion emblem, while the lower margin clearly bears the text "POSTAGE 5d" in a clean serif typeface.
