Description: This vintage Calf of Man local post carriage stamp is a fascinating example of British offshore island philately. It features a monochrome central vignette of a Kittiwake in flight over an open, rolling sea. This central artwork is framed by a thick, striking teal border with modern white typography that displays "CALF OF MAN" at the top and "ISLE OF MAN" at the bottom. The face value is uniquely denominated as "9 MURREYS," positioned in the upper-left quadrant of the vignette directly below the numerical digit.
