Description: This vintage Irish definitive postage stamp features a full-length standing depiction of Saint Patrick (S. Patricius), shown wearing formal bishop's vestments, a ornate mitre, and a radiating circular halo. He is framed within a classical stone archway, raising his right hand in a traditional sign of blessing while gripping a tall, double-barred patriarchal cross staff in his left hand. The monochromatic design is beautifully printed via typography using slate-blue ink on an off-white paper background. The national name "ÉIRE" is prominently positioned along the upper margin, while the lower baseline bears the Latin identification "S. PATRICIVS". Symmetrical value tablets in the upper corners display the denomination "3P". This specimen shows uniform comb perforations and features a dark black circular town handstamp cancellation running over the left and lower margins, leaving the central figure fully legible.
