Description: This vintage definitive postage stamp from the Hungarian People's Republic features an engraved illustration of the Fővárosi Új Közkórház (Metropolitan New Public Hospital). Printed in a rich, monochromatic chocolate-brown ink palette, the layout captures a angular multi-story medical facility. The architecture highlights deep-set window tiers, modern structural concrete pillars, and side residential balconies alongside microscopic pedestrians walking across the open plaza ground. A vintage mid-century streamline car sits parked prominently near the lower right quadrant. The face value "40f" (40 fillér) is cleanly enclosed within the upper-left field corner frame, while the precise facility title "FŐVÁROSI ÚJ KÖZKÓRHÁZ" tracks along the top interior margin. The continuous national postal inscription "MAGYAR POSTA" proudly anchors the deep lower base block.
