Description: This vintage 30 f (30 fillér) definitive postage stamp was issued by the Hungarian People's Republic (Magyar Népköztársaság) as part of a multi-year definitive set documenting state architecture and civil engineering. The central design is printed in a warm orange-red monochrome ink against a soft cream backdrop, capturing a detailed perspective view of the Lehel Street residential housing complex (Lehel úti lakóházak) in Budapest. The illustration highlights the sharp lines and geometric balconies of newly built, functionalist multi-story apartment structures, with a small manicured courtyard garden and local trees detailed in the lower left foreground. The face value "30" is boldly displayed in a modern, elongated block typeface in the upper left corner, directly overlaying the text inscription "LEHEL ÚTI LAKÓHÁZAK BUDAPEST" running along the upper border. The state name "MAGYAR POSTA" anchors the lower margin in a clean serif font.
