Description: This olive-green definitive stamp features an intricate illustration of a wooden distaff head, a traditional tool used in spinning wool. The central motif is rendered in a bronze-brown tone to mimic the texture of aged wood and is divided into two distinct religious panels: the upper section depicts Saint George on horseback slaying the dragon, while the lower section shows a standing figure of Saint Barbara. The design is framed by the bilingual country name—"HELLAS" in Latin characters on the left and "ΕΛΛΑΣ" in Greek characters on the right. The denomination "ΔΡ. 4.50" (4.50 Drachmas) appears in the bottom right corner. Your image displays a horizontal pair of these stamps joined by the perforations, bearing a circular cancellation mark that bridges both items.
