Description: This Greek postage stamp captures a dynamic fragment of a medieval religious artwork featuring a descending holy messenger. The stylized figure is depicted in mid-flight with large blue-tipped wings pointed upward, dressed in flowing rose-pink and light blue vestments. A circular golden halo encircles the head, reflecting the traditional iconographic style of the Eastern Orthodox Church. The backdrop simulates a golden glass tile wall composed of thousands of individual mosaic squares. Contained along the bottom chocolate-brown horizontal panel is the country name "ΕΛΛΑΣ" paired with the face value "ΔΡ. 4.50" (4.50 drachmae) in a bold white serif font.
