Description: The central vignette features a historic landscape view of the rugged Acropolis of Athens hill, highlighting the legendary stone fortifications and temple ruins rising over the horizon. Positioned in the upper center header is the country name written in traditional Greek script as "ΕΛΛΑΣ". Symmetrical decorative scroll panels framing ancient architectural motifs accent both upper corners. The lower base features the currency denomination text "ΔΡΑΧΜΑΙ" flanked on both side flanks by square corner blocks containing the numeral "2". This circulated specimen is visibly marked by a sweeping black ink post office handstamp cancellation traveling across the lower right frame.
