Spain's Classic Crown Newspaper Issue

Under Review

Description: This stamp is a 1-céntimo (1 Céntimo) definitive newspaper postage stamp issued by the Kingdom of Spain (España). Printed in a crisp, dark green ink on warm cream-toned paper, the design is highly geometric and structured. The layout features the large central numeral "1" positioned directly below a detailed illustration of the Spanish Royal Crown. Flanking the central elements on the left and right margins is the word "CORREOS" (Postage), while the country name "ESPAÑA" rests horizontally under the crown and the currency text "CÉNTIMO" spans the bottom border. A rectangular frame containing delicate floral scroll motifs anchors the four outer corners of the paper surface. This specific specimen is an imperforate variety, displaying wide, straight-cut margins around all four sides.
