Description: This definitive postage stamp from Spain (España) presents a highly detailed, forward-facing portrait of General Francisco Franco rendered in a deep sage green hue. Breaking away from earlier profile styles, this layout emphasizes a realistic depiction of the head of state set against a heavily textured, stippled background canvas. The upper-left corner clearly isolates the face value denomination of 80 Céntimos (80 CTS). Balanced cleanly at the baseline, the bold country name "ESPAÑA" sits stacked directly above the functional operational designation "CORREOS". Running along the outside bottom margin is the tiny manufacturer imprint text reading "F.N.M.T.". Several parallel black machine cancel lines slice horizontally across the upper face, verifying its regular postal service history.

This portrait style is widely referred to by specialized Spanish philatelists as part of the "Franco de frente" (Franco from the front) definitive series.
