Description: This definitive postage stamp from Spain (España) features a right-facing profile portrait of General Francisco Franco, positioned adjacent to the national coat of arms of the Francoist regime. The intricate heraldic emblem showcases the Eagle of Saint John supporting a shield layered with the historical symbols of Castile, León, Aragon, Navarre, and Granada, topped by the motto "UNA GRANDE LIBRE" on a billowing ribbon. Rendered in a deep slate blue-grey hue, the top border contains the bold designations "ESPAÑA / CORREOS". The bottom right corner frames the face value denomination of 50 Céntimos (50 CTS). A heavy, circular black ink postal cancel bearing partial text markings cuts deeply through the right side of the stamp, verifying its regular operational use in the domestic mail stream.
