Description: This definitive postage stamp from Spain (España) presents a highly detailed, forward-facing likeness of General Francisco Franco rendered in a deep magenta ink. Breaking away from earlier profile perspectives, this front-facing engraving frames the leader's features against a densely textured, stippled background canvas to enhance the central visual depth. The upper-left corner isolates the face value denomination of 2 Pesetas, displaying the numeral "2" stacked directly above the abbreviation "PTAS". Layered neatly along the baseline margin, the country name "ESPAÑA" sits positioned directly over the functional postal text "CORREOS". The outside bottom edge includes the tiny initials of the state security printer, "F.N.M.T.". A portion of a dark, heavy handstamped postal cancel cuts vertically across the right side of the face, verifying its operational role within the national mail network.
