Hindenburg Medallion Carmine Definitive

Under Review

Description: This carmine-red postage stamp is a definitive issue from the German Realm (Deutsches Reich). The central design showcases the left-profile portrait of Paul von Hindenburg, the celebrated military field marshal and second President of the Weimar Republic. The portrait is enclosed in a finely shaded circular medallion that floats seamlessly over a solid red backdrop. The face value of 12 Pfennig is displayed boldly in both upper corners, while the country name "Deutsches Reich" anchors the bottom frame in traditional Fraktur script. This postally used example is struck by thick, sweeping black lines from a mechanical cancel.
