Description: This 20 Pfennig stamp is a direct re-issue of the earlier 24 Pfennig "Stalinallee" design, released as part of the Five-Year Plan definitive series. Printed in the same reddish-carmine color, it features the grand boulevard Stalinallee in East Berlin, with high-rise socialist classicist architecture and a statue of Stalin on the left. The key difference from the first issue is the denomination: the top right corner now displays a "20" instead of "24". The design retains the "5" emblem (Five-Year Plan) with the post horn and oak leaves in the bottom right corner.
