Description: This vintage 5 haléřů definitive postage stamp belongs to the same mid-century numeric linden leaf series issued by the Czechoslovak Republic as the preceding 30h value. The horizontal square-format design is printed in a light olive-bistre monochrome ink against a warm cream paper stock, spotlighting a large central numeral "5". The value is neatly centered inside a horizontal oval medallion filled with uniform horizontal line shading. An ornate background layer of curling linden leaves and twisting botanical vines completely envelops the inner medallion. The national country title "ČESKOSLOVENSKO" arches uniformly across the top segment inside a dedicated banner panel, while the plural denomination text "HALÉŘŮ" is centered directly below the main numeral oval. A micro-fine signature along the central lower frame edge credits the precision plate hand-carving to master intaglio engraver Bohdan Roule.
