Description: This sharply engraved orange-brown definitive stamp from Czechoslovakia centers on a dramatic rendering of the historic Kost Castle (Hrad Kost), located in the scenic Bohemian Paradise region. The composition highlights the fortress’s famous thick, multi-angled white tower towering over massive stone battlements, lower residential structures, and rugged rocky outcroppings. Framed neatly inside a rectangular border, the top banner proclaims the national title "ČESKOSLOVENSKO", while the name of the castle, "KOST", runs vertically along the upper right margin. The lower left corner features the prominent "20h" face value, and the base margin displays the faint signatures of the layout designer and the line engraver. A light, smudged black post office cancellation line cuts horizontally through the center of the masonry walls to indicate its completed historical postal sorting track.
