Description: This original military artifact is a standard-issue uniform sleeve insignia representing the rank of Warrant Officer Class 2 (WO2) within the British Armed Forces and various Commonwealth militaries. The die-struck design centers on a highly detailed, embossed St. Edward's Crown, commonly designated by historians as the Queen's Crown (QC). The crown showcases intricate jewel detailing along its base band, structural arches adorned with raised pearls, and a prominent cross pattée anchoring the very peak. The entire crown motif is struck directly upon a completely flat, circular brass backing disc, attached with dual lugs and pin.
