Description: The large circular-convex button is die-stamped from a sturdy base metal with a brass backing and a polished, brilliant chrome-plated face finish. The centerpiece features a high-relief, sharply detailed rendering of the Queen's Crown—specifically the St. Edward's Crown profile—distinguished by its characteristic dipped arches, jewel-encrusted band, and top cross. The flat reverse side displays a solid brass composition stamped with the crisp industrial maker's mark "J.R. GAUNT • LONDON", housing a rigid integrated copper or brass wire eyelet shank designed for heavy split-pin or safety-ring attachment to a wool service coat.
