Queen Elizabeth II St. Edward's Crown Insignia

Under Review

Material: Staybrite (Anodized Aluminum)
Size: 40mm w × 40mm h
Description: This striking die-stamped metal insignia serves as a high-ranking uniform component representing the St. Edward’s Crown, the official symbol of the British monarch's authority. The high-relief design features a jewel-studded base band rising up to prominent fleurs-de-lis and crosses-patée, topped by a detailed monde and a final cross. This specific crown design was used to denote senior military ranks, such as a Warrant Officer Class 2 (WO2) in the British and Commonwealth armed forces, or senior positions within police and emergency service forces. The insignia is mounted flat against a circular metal backplate, which served to securely stabilize the heavy emblem when affixed to coarse uniform cloth or leather gear.
Reverse: Dual lugs, with cotter pin and backplate.
Circa: Post-1953 (Queen Elizabeth II era)
