Description: This vertically oriented postage stamp features a prominent, single-color line engraving of the Chinese revolutionary leader and statesman, Dr. Sun Yat-sen. The entire design is printed in a deep brick-red or dark coral-orange ink on off-white paper stock, centering a forward-facing portrait of the leader from the chest up. Running along the upper border is the right-to-left traditional Chinese nameplate inscription "中華民國郵政" (Republic of China Postal Service). The bottom section anchors the physical monetary denomination, featuring the Western Arabic numeral "50000" in the lower left corner (flanked by two tiny underlined zeros ⁰⁰) and its matching traditional Chinese text equivalent "伍萬圓" (Fifty Thousand Yuan) in the lower right corner. The portrait sits against a finely cross-hatched geometric background. This uncancelled, pristine specimen is finished with distinct, sharp comb perforations along all four sides.
