Description: This definitive issue from the Republic of China features a central portrait of Dr. Sun Yat-sen enclosed within an oval vignette. Flanked by two classical Greek-style columns, the design balances traditional Western architecture with proud nationalist symbols, displaying the "Blue Sky with a White Sun" emblem of the Kuomintang party prominently at the top center. The banner running across the lower border reads "中華民國郵政" (Republic of China Postal Administration) from right to left. Printed in a distinct olive green ink, this particular stamp carries a denomination of 4 Fen (cents), denoted by the Western numerals "4" in the bottom corners and the traditional Chinese characters "肆" (Four) and "分" (Fen) inside the upper corner plinths.
