Description: The design is part of a celebrated postal series that broke away from traditional engraved portraiture in favor of modern artistic interpretations. It depicts the statesman in a sharp line drawing created by artist David Annesley, showcasing his recognizable profile against a stark white background. Printed by the Canadian Bank Note Company, the stamp includes bilingual text reading "postes/postage" alongside the denomination and the leader's surname. This vertical format block showcases clean side perforations and a distinct vertical gutter margin separating the stamps from the left salvage edge.
