Description: This definitive issue features a beautiful two-by-two block of four mint, un-cancelled stamps seamlessly bound together. Each individual stamp showcases a realistic, highly detailed illustration of a cougar crouched low on a rough tree branch, staring forward with alert, wide eyes. The background is filled out by dense, soft-focus pine needles and dark forest foliage. The upper right corner houses the country name "Canada" paired with its scientific classification text "Felis concolor cougar". The bottom right quadrant frames the large white numeric value "12" balanced by the dual-language operational indicator "postage postes".
