WW2 Canadian Army Curved Nationality Flash

Under Review

Material: Cloth

Size: 90mm w x 25mm h

Description: This artifact is a Canadian military nationality shoulder title worn during the Second World War. The insignia consists of the country name "CANADA" embroidered in thick, off-white cotton thread using a heavy satin stitch technique. The text is set on an arched, curved strip of coarse khaki-drab serge wool backing that matches the fabric of standard military issue service uniforms. Measuring 90mm in width by 25mm in height, this curved flash was specifically produced to be sewn flush against the upper shoulder seams of a soldier's combat jacket.

Circa: 1939-1945
