Material: Embroidered cloth badge.
Size: 60 mm w × 55 mm h
Description: This item is an authentic chief or petty officer's service cap badge issued to personnel within the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN). The intricate textile arrangement showcases a central foul anchor manually embroidered in heavy, textured golden-yellow thread, wrapped beautifully by a dense split wreath made entirely of national Canadian maple leaves. Surmounting this core Commonwealth arrangement is a brilliantly padded St. Edward’s Crown (Queen's Crown) profile executed in contrasting red, white, and golden bullion silks. The entire multi-piece structural embroidery pattern is bound tightly onto a heavy, rough-cut black felt cloth backing plate designed to be stitched directly onto a peaked service dress forage hat.
